Professional Associations/Achievements

An Appleton native, Mr. Menn attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Thereafter, he worked for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee in Grand Rapids, and went on to study law at the University of Wisconsin Law School. During law school, he was a judicial intern for Judge Steven D. Ebert at the Dane County Circuit Court, clerked for both a Fox Valley law firm and the Madison City Attorney, and participated in the pilot program of the Pro Bono Partnership Project.

Since joining Steinhilber Swanson LLP in 2009, he has built a practice centered around consumer bankruptcy and business reorganizations. He represents individual and business debtors in cases filed under Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, and represents both debtors and creditors in adversary proceedings in bankruptcy, as well as negotiating settlements outside of bankruptcy. He assists clients who are facing foreclosure, helping them defend their foreclosure case and resolve their default through chapter 13, and has helped many clients obtain home mortgage modifications through the Mortgage Modification Mediation Program available in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, as well as through direct modifications with lenders outside of bankruptcy.
